“MENTORING MONDAY”

SEASON TWO ANNOUNCEMENT!

Today marks a special moment for me not only is it the celebration of my

birthday but also that I would like to share some good news with you! I would

like to inform you of the countdown to the release of the Second Season of

“Mentoring Monday”, my podcast series on Caribbean authentic leaders and

how they have changed the trajectory of their mentees, regardless of social

status. The feedback on Season one which is airing now, has been fabulous and

encouraging so it was inevitable that we should have gone into production for

a second season.

We are well aware that mentoring is on the rise in organizations over the last

few years. The importance of mentorship has been the subject of discussion in

many forum and on the mind and lips of self-made global leaders. The majority

of successful people who have made it have shared that there has been

someone who had seen a spark in them before they had seen it in themselves.

And recently, there has been a burgeoning of shows and podcasts dedicated to

the impact of mentoring and highlighting the advantages of mentorship.

“Mentorship Monday” continues to bring something unique to the table, a

discussion with elite leaders and their mentors, followed by a discussion of the

impact that those leaders had on the young protégés and how the paradigm

had shifted for them. We have had a distinguished line up of guests in the first

Season. Angela Lee Loy, Dr. Jennifer Rouse, Ms. Kerry Ann Ifill, Dr. Kalisa

Villafana, the incomparable Prof. Edward Greene and Dr. Anthony Watkins to

name a few. Some of them have made their mark in the global arena.

This coming Season, we continue to feature the stories of powerhouses like Dr. Camille Wardrop - Alleyne, Wayne Chen, Jason Julien, Meiling, Judge Charmaine Pemberton and many more. Hear the riveting stories of trailblazers like Anthony Hadeed and Simone Young.
