Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the dads and those who perform the role of father! I wanted to make a special meal this morning because I have not cooked in my kitchen for a few weeks. So I made chunck crab 🦀 salad! It was divine ✨️. Imagine Panera bread has reached Trinidad 🇹🇹. So I bought the sourdough bowls! Delicious 😋 😋. Cucumbers, tomatoes 🍅, and lettuce. I also made banana nut muffins with some banana 🍌 slices. Bananas, coffee and orange 🍊 juice. I used those plates as a tribute to Ephie as she celebrated her birthday yesterday. She gave me the plates a few years ago but coincidentally, I had bought the bowl 20 years ago with my mother. They had similar taste. The circle of life! As we continue to celebrate fathers all over the world! So I prepared jasmine rice, sweet potato mash (one of Sheldon's favourite dishes), stewed pigeon peas 😋, and lettuce leaves. I chose salmon slices today which was different especially after enjoying so much wild caught salmon in Canada over the last few weeks. I made a honey garlic sauce using creamed honey that was gifted to me by my godson and his wife! Thank you Keon and Sabrina - new parents! Fruit Punch to drink! I also made succulent fried chicken which was not plated. Very tasty too. #foodnetwork #foodienation
