Oh Happy Day !

Today is a happy day even though I got a curve ball this morning. I was nearly finished with the breakfast 😋 when electricity went! Whew! The stove had to be lit manually, the tablecloth was not ironed, and it was going to get warm soon! Heaven help! I was also tired because I was binge watching "From Scratch", a story about a chef and an artist, on Netflix. I had to push through nonetheless. And I did! Here it is - lobster 🦞 salad, iltalian loaf, and hot 🔥 chocolate which was gifted to me by the late Joel, last year. I made passion fruit juice with the passion fruit from Roger who has been manicuring our lawn for more than 2 decades. Thanks Roger. My sister in law, Michele, sent me some of the sweetest sapodillas. Delish! Life is good! #foodnetwork #foodienation

Today was coconut tree cutting day! One of our coconut trees had to be shaved before it is cut down fully next week. It served us well! For lunch, I made jasmine 😋 rice, teriyaki noodles with bok choy, roasted beets 😋(got the bok choy and beets from my road trip to Gillian and Dillon in Reform Village), and sautéed salmon. Also made Orange 🍊 chicken for Sheldon (not plated). The drink is coconut water ...you guessed right! #foodnetwork #foodienation
