Marian's Visit

Today, my dear friend, Marian came to visit and we started the day with brunch. Sheldon joined us later! As I had made a trip to Barbados, this week, I prepared a decadent meal of fried flying fish in honour of their national dish. I also made corn muffins and fried plantains. Sliced avocado was also put on the table. An assortment of teas and some coffee. I also showcased some honey spoons which were gifted to me by my dear cousin, Lystra. Orange 🍊 juice for the beverage and bananas for fruit. It was a great meal after church! Life is good! #foodnetwork #foodienation

Marian and I were trying to catch up on our lives for the rest of the day while I prepared this meal. Jasmine rice, Trini macaroni pie, stewed pigeon peas with real coconut milk, baked turkey breast with cranberry sauce. Then I prepared baked shrimp 🍤 with orange sauce. Sliced avocado 🥑. Purple cabbage slaw with gourmet mayonnaise! Chef's kiss! Lettuce. Non alcoholic grape 🍇 wine. Sheldon and Marian appreciated the efforts! #foodnetwork #foodienation
