Carnival Is In The Air

Carnival is in the air! It's Panorama semifinals today and many of the pan aficionados are already in the Savannah cheering on their favourite band. This morning, I brought out the panini press. I made albacore tuna with Havarti cheese 🧀 panini. It was very delicious 😋 I must say. That sweet relish gave it the ump! Grapefruit juice. Coffee. Bananas 🍌. In high praise 👏! I made the best creamed sweet potato today because Sheldon was complimentary for the entire afternoon. When I was making it, I remembered mommy the entire time because I used to make this dish for her every weekend and she used to enjoy it immensely. I also boiled cauliflower steaks, made callaloo and crab with coconut milk (coconut from our tree), as well as stewed chicken and sweet and sour shrimp 🍤 😋. Two halves of tomatoes. Sorrel to drink. This picture of mommy came up on my phone and I hope that you saw the similarities in the patterns on her clothes and the cushion with the placemat and plate! What a connection!
